May 15-17th 2022 a group of three of us enjoyed a few days in Glastonbury, staying at the Crown Hotel in Glastonbury.

I picked my Swedish friend up from Bristol Airport on the 11th of May and as we drove to Glastonbury, we passed through lush countryside and through a rocky valley where goats were roaming free. The journey to Glastonbury was a smooth jaunt through the glorious surroundings, we eventually saw a sign for Glastonbury, and turned a corner to see the Glastonbury Tor, looking very proud in the distance.

I had a Deja vu and as I had it I had another, remembering my Deja Vu, had I been here before in another life?

We parked up and checked my friend into the Crown hotel, her home for the next two weeks, exploring Glastonbury.

I returned on the 15th of May the Sunday and we met up with our other friend from London, had a delicious Sunday Roast in the Crown Hotel, and got an early night ready for the long day on Monday.

Monday 16th May 2022

4.30 a.m.  Awake!

5.00 a.m. We grabbed our takeaway Breakfasts and walked to the car, parked nearby.  I was the designated driver for the day. We set off for Stonehenge, Salisbury (postcode SP4 7DE), just over an hour's drive.

6.30 a.m. Refresh with a loo break we boarded the Stonehenge shuttle bus for a short ride to Circle of Stones, we arrived at Stonehenge!

6.45 a.m. I asked the larger group if anyone minded If play my Shamanic drum for a few minutes and all are happy and even ask me to play it longer. We walk into the ancient and magical centre of the stones and are in the Inner circle at Stonehenge and I'm playing my Shamanic drum!!

The energy is beautiful, and I wander around the inner circle, and outer feeling the calm energy and power of the stone circle.

7.45 a.m. Inner circle time ended, and we caught the bus back to the Stonehenge exhibits centre and had a look around the shop, and then ate breakfast, we tried to get a coffee but we were too early!

9.00 a.m. We Left Stonehenge for West Kennet Long Barrow, at Gunsite Rd, Marlborough SN8 1QH [ approx 45 min travel ]

9.45 a.m. We parked in the car park on A4, and strolled through the fields up to West Kennet Long Barrow and into the entrance, and deep inside, in the dark, we did a ritual to honour the Goddess of the place.

10.45 a.m. We strolled back down from the Long Barrow and crossed the road and took the short walk over to Silbury Hill. When we arrived a lady was playing a sound bowl, so we all lay in the grass and listened and each went off on a journey to meet the Goddess energy of the Hill.

12.00 p.m. After a relaxing time at Silbury Hill, we Left for the short trip up to Avebury [ 7 min drive ] and parked in the National Trust car park [ National Trust Car Park, 1 Beckhampton Rd, Beckhampton, Marlborough SN8 1QT, I get free parking as a member:) ]

12.10 p.m. We parked up and walked the short meandering path into the village and we grabbed ourselves a cheeky ice cream and loo break and waited out the short rain shower under an umbrella outside the visitor centre.

12.30 p.m. We had a stroll around the Avebury stones and the rain returned and poured down, I borrowed a beautiful pink coat to stay dry-ish, the rain got too much so we went back to the dry and grabbed a hot drink in the canteen.

2.00 p.m. We meandered back to the car and headed back to Glastonbury [ approx 1.5 hour drive ] and parked up near the hotel

4.00 p.m. We all freshened and then decided to make the most of the now beautiful sunny day and climb the Tor, we took the route at the back of the Tor, which is steep and snakes up the hill. One of our parties has a fear of heights, so we coaxed her up the steep hill and she joyfully reach the top to see those gorgeous far-reaching views across the lush green countryside.

7. p.m. Down from the Tor we had an evening meal in the Crown hotel so we'd have enough energy for the full Moon and our Midnight - Fly around the Tor on our Dragons and Brooms - ready to dance naked around a fire and get high on mushrooms! In the end, we went to bed early and slept soundly :)

Tuesday 17th May 2022

8. a.m. A hearty breakfast set us up for the day and we had a walk around town and headed to the Chalice Wells a short 15-minute walk away, with the plan to meet up with a lady we'd met on the Tor, in the Tuesday market, for a coffee and chat.

10 a.m. We visited each of the Chalice Wells and sat in contemplation in the beautiful and peaceful gardens.

Glastonbury has a number of shops to buy amazing crystals in and the market on Tuesday had a stall with every variety you could imagine.

We visited the PORTAL shop and listened to the Templates, which I highly recommend you check out at https://thetemplateglastonbury.com/category/videos/  and I purchased the SUN :)

Early afternoon we all went our separate ways, and I returned to drop my friend off at Bristol Airport again on the 25th of May, before we left we visited the Abbey, sang in the chapel, saw the ruins of the vast Abbey close up and visited the place King Arthur was thoughts to have been buried.

I highly recommend a visit to Glastonbury town and Stonehenge, West Kennet Long Barrow, Silbury Hill, Avebury, and Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Wells and the Abbey and shops :)
